What is the return policy?
Due to the custom nature of our creations, we cannot accept returns—each piece is lovingly crafted from the photograph you provide. However, if your order arrives damaged or doesn’t meet your expectations, contact us using our Contact form and we'll try to find a solution.
How to take a good pet photo?
- Photograph your pet up close in bright, natural light—no filters.
- Capture a head-on shot that includes ears, forehead, neck and chest for optimal framing.
- Avoid overhead, blurred or heavily edited images—and please no photos of your pet lying down.
What if I need to make changes to my order?
No problem! Contact us using out Contact form and we'll be happy to help. Please note, that we can guarantee changes to be made within 30 minutes of your order being placed.
Can I preview my portrait before it ships?
To ensure prompt delivery, we don’t offer artwork previews. If your photo isn’t suitable for a portrait, we’ll request a replacement via email.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Do you create pet memorials?
Tails & Cie is humbled to create portraits in honor of passed pets. We work with customers to find the perfect photo out of the (potentially limited) photo choices you have. Please contact us if you have any further questions using our Contact form.
Can I receive the portrait without a name?
No problem at all. Just put "No name" in "Pet name" field when placing an order, and your portrait will arrive in a minimalistic style without any text.
What are your shipping times?
Due to custom nature of each portrait, your poster creation could take up to a week during normal season, and up to two weeks during high load season (for example, during Christmas season). Want your product sooner? Select "Want your poster sooner?" option on order and we'll make sure your portrait is the first to create by our artists. Please note, that this will not affect delivery times.
